Here are some photos from REFRESH in October to give you a feel for what it was like.

Thanks again to the Wes and I-man for pre and post, the artists for the altered books (Karen Block, Kit Ripley, Erin Wright, Kristi Snyder, Vivienne Holt and Christina Holt), Rob for his stories, Prem for sound, Sojo's for the cafe, and the band for leading us in worship, and Adrian for taking photos.  Thanks too for Melanie for doing lyrics, everyone who helped with set up and take down, and Grace International School for providing a venue with sound equipment -- special thanks to Mike for making that happen!

REFRESH is tonight!

We will be starting with pre-event music at 7:00 PM, including a time to enjoy the art.

Worship starts at 7:30 and goes to 9:00 PM.

After the event, more live music and art until 9:30.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Sojo's cafe

We are excited that Sojo's Cafe will once again be providing coffee and snacks during the REFRESH event at GIS and HOP for this fourth year of REFRESH!

Sojo's will be open 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after REFRESH so that you can grab a coffee, check out the amazing art, and listed to the live pre and post music.  They will also be serving during the event.

Thanks so much to Sojo's Cafe and their team for contributing to REFRESH!

Spoken word - Celebrating God's Heritage

We are excited this coming REFRESH to hear from Rob Collins, who has been a missionary for 50+ years in Thailand.

We've asked Rob to share a story of God's goodness from his time here in Thailand as a missionary working with and empowering the growth of the local church.

Each ministry, event, and outreach today is building on a spiritual heritage of work that has gone before. In Northern Thailand we are building on a heritage of Christian work and outreach going back over 100 years. It is good to stop and remember those times and those stories that remind us of God's goodness through the years.

Thanks to Rob for being willing to share with us. Rob has many stories of God's goodness, and is a great story teller, so we are looking forward to it!

Pre and Post Music!

One of the nice parts to REFRESH is the 30 minutes before and after the event.

During this time, we have live music -- from guitar, to harp, to flute to traditional Thai khim.

This October 12, we are please to have Wes and I-man Uyeda for our music -- on guitar and vocals.

Be sure to come early, listen and check out the art, and linger and have a coffee afterwards.

Art for REFRESH!

This coming REFRESH on October 12 will feature the artwork of Karen Block, Kit Ripley,  Erin Wright and others.

Using mixed media and "de/re-constructed" books, each piece is unique!  Amazing and creative work!

REFRESH DATES! For the new year

We are excited to announce that we've been able to confirm the dates and venues for REFRESH for the 2012/2013 school year.

We are going to have six events this year -- three in the first semester, three in the second.

We are going to be at two venues -- House of Praise (HOP) church and Grace International School (GIS). Both are well equipped with sound equipment (saving hours of set up!) and HOP is located in the city (just off the superhighway near Wat Jed Yod and Nimanhamen Road), and GIS south of Chiang Mai in World Club.  A big thanks to both for agreeing to host REFRESH this year!

The format will be the same as last year -- 30 minutes pre and post music and a cafe, then 90 minutes of worship.  We'll be doing some new things this year, and are looking forward to seeing God work in Chiang Mai!
